Hershey Christian Academy encourages parental involvement and desires to maintain transparency between the School Board, staff, faculty and school families. In order to do so, we have developed the Parent Association, which helps to make decisions regarding the school.  There will be two meetings a year, one in fall and one in spring, during which each member of the association will have a vote on matters brought before them by the board.  These votes will be items such as appointment of board of directors, hiring of teachers, hiring of administrator, approval of budget, etc.

There are three ways to become part of the association:

  1. All parents who have enrolled at least one full time student at Hershey Christian Academy will have membership and one vote per family.
  2. All persons who have contributed at least 80 hours per year of board approved volunteering will have membership and one vote per family.
  3. All persons who have contributed monetarily in an amount equal to or greater than the highest student tuition will have membership and one vote per family.
