HCA Volunteer Information for HE&R
(Hershey Entertainment & Resorts)
One of the many perks of living in or near Hershey is a program offered by Hershey Entertainment & Resorts (HE&R). It’s truly “the sweetest fundraiser in town!” There are opportunities year-round, including Hershey Bears Games, Antique Auto Show, HersheyPark in the Dark and Candylane. They even need volunteers to help staff the employee cafe, which is open all year.
Here’s how it works:
Adults 18 years of age (or 21 if around alcoholic beverages) and older can work at HersheyPark or HersheyPark Stadium and have their earnings go directly to Hershey Christian Academy!
The shifts are 3-, 4-, or 5- hours long without a break. The shift fee (currently $8/hour) will be divided in half ($4/hr applied to your student’s A/R account and $4/hr given to HCA). Each volunteer will receive one volunteer voucher for each shift completed. One voucher is good for one of the following choices:
One Hersheypark admission during the current season
One admission to the current Hersheypark In The Dark event
One admission to the current Hersheypark Christmas Candylane event
One vehicle admission to Hershey Sweet Lights, seating 8 passengers or less only; ticket is valid Sunday – Thursday only
