Answer to Our Prayers
“Hershey Christian Academy is an answer to our prayers. We needed a school that would look at our kids as individuals and we love the small class sizes. It definitely feels like a family.”
Forever Grateful
“I will be forever grateful that the Lord gifted my family with HCA. We came to the Hershey area last year during a difficult time and needed extra support. From the first phone call inquiry to the school, where I was met with great warmth, I knew we had found our school. Not only were my three children given loving, gifted teachers, who prayed over them daily, encouraged them to be and do their best, and helped them grow academically and spiritually, they had SO MUCH FUN in the process. And when there was hardship or a difficult bump in the road, the staff was right there to find a solution with compassion and understanding. We love the small class sizes, the encouraged parental involvement, and the drive to provide the best educational experience possible with a biblical worldview. My kids couldn’t wait for the school year to begin again. Truly, Hershey Christian Academy is more than a school- it’s a family!”
Communication and Transparency
“As a former Hershey Christian School teacher, there was simply no other school I would want for my children. During the 10+ years I taught there, Hershey Christian became my family. Though the location has changed, returning to this community has felt like coming home. My husband and I now have school-aged twins, each with very different areas of giftedness. The school has been willing to partner with us to accomplish our goals of getting both children on track with their appropriate grade placement. While larger schools may overlook their unique areas of strengths, the staff at Hershey Christian Academy not only takes time to see, know, and understand each of my children, but also celebrates their uniqueness. I love that they see every child as extraordinary.
As a parent, I am thrilled with the ease of communication and transparency. We have been in constant contact as we transitioned from a different school system and monitor how the twins are doing. By being a small school, my child cannot be overlooked or left unchallenged. I have complete confidence in this school to care for my children and this place has quickly become home for them as well. They absolutely love it and come home pouring themselves into continuing to practice what they have learned and play school at home.”
Meet My Children’s Individual Needs
“As a mother of three very different children, I am most impressed by how the HCA teachers work to meet my children’s individual needs. My children love school because of this! They know that their teachers really care for them and want what is best for them. At HCA, they are not just students, they are unique creations of God and for that I am eternally grateful.”
HCA is Family
“Would I recommend HCA to new parents? Absolutely! HCA puts a whole new meaning on what I think of when I think of “school!” When I reflect on HCA, I see God’s grace fulfilled between those four walls and beyond. HCA is family. The classroom sizes are small and personalized for sweet connections. The teachers are amazing. I cannot say enough about the love, compassion, patience, understanding and support the teachers pour out daily. HCA fights for each student’s success. This is my daughter’s third year at HCA. The teachers, administrators and volunteers are so supportive.
I’m feeling overwhelmed with emotions and gratefulness for HCA.”
Extension of Our Family
“With everything going on in the world today, we wanted our children to go to a school that shared our same Christian values. Our oldest child has gone from being timid and shy to someone who is now trying out for the Spring play and playing her instrument at school chapels! She has gained confidence and power in who God has made her to be. Our middle child has recognized that differences are really strengths and gifts. Our youngest child has been challenged to grow both academically and emotionally. The addition of a child development specialist gives staff another way to show students that some of their greatest struggles are God’s greatest gifts. All three of our kids are not just learning through their studies, but developing a relationship with God. What we have come to realize is that the teachers are not just staff, but an extension of our family.”
Something that God Wants for Them
“We have three children attending Hershey Christian Academy. The older two have attended since its founding for a multitude of reasons. We started out here because the small classes allowed our children to be challenged and learn at their own advanced pace. The atmosphere of grace and love for your neighbor runs deep throughout the school and a Christian education provides a meaningful foundation that we hope will walk with our children through the rest of their lives. We have stayed and enrolled our other child when it was time because of the relationships we’ve built with teachers, staff and other families. Our children are loved and known in a way that leaves no doubt in our minds that they are a part of something big. Something that God wants for them. And that is worth more to us than anything.”
